update

I've had some good times in the last couple of months. I floated the Boulder river here with a friend and it was quite an experience. The fishing was good and we didn't do anything but throw big dries, it was a good time. The fish really liked the turks! The float was exciting and I was sore for 2 days after! There wasn't any time to relax, we were on the sticks the whole time trying not to swim. It was fun.
I just got done with 4 days on the horn and it was amazing how it changed. The first couple were tough and I had a couple of guys that hadn't ever even held a rod. I was wondering why I got back into guiding! Then I had another group that were decent fisherman and all of a sudden the hoppers turned on! We landed 5 fish over 20" in one day. I think they're going to be spoiled on any other river from now on. I just wish I had the rod in my hand. I'm going to head out this weekend for some much needed fishing on my own. It should be a great time and I have a feeling there will be a lot to write about after.
